Helder Nakaya

Helder Nakaya is a scientist and professor working at the intersection of systems immunology, bioinformatics, and artificial intelligence in health. He leads a research group at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and is a professor at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, as well as an adjunct professor at Emory University School of Medicine. His research focuses on understanding immune responses to infection and vaccination through the integration of transcriptomic, single cell, spatial, and clinical data. His group also develops computational tools to support the analysis and interpretation of complex biomedical datasets, with particular interest in systems vaccinology, infectious diseases, and precision medicine.
